Starred Louis Pearl. Shortly after this afternoon show had ended a fire broke out in the upstairs flat above the kebab shop next door to the Dixon Studio. As a precaution, the theatre was evacuated. Fortunately, there were no evening shows. The fire destroyed the roof of the flat, but caused no damage to the theatre and shows resumed the next day as scheduled.Productions by decade
